Dr. Spivack graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 with majors in Biology and the Biological Basis in Behavior. During college, she worked at Penn’s small animal veterinary teaching hospital and stayed on there to obtain her VMD in 2006. Following graduation, Dr. Spivack moved to New York City to complete a small animal rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center. Dr. Spivack relocated to Indianapolis in 2007 when she was accepted to a surgical internship at the VCA Veterinary Specialty Center of Indiana. Dr. Spivack became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner in 2012 and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2014. She moved back to her childhood home in Northern Virginia for two years following residency, before settling more permanently in the Midwest with her husband, two children and two dogs, Marlow & Riley. Since that time, Dr. Spivack has practiced as a board-certified small animal surgeon at multiple veterinary referral hospitals serving the Indianapolis area. Dr. Spivack is passionate about both soft tissue and orthopedics, with a special interest in surgical oncology and skin reconstruction techniques. She is also Penn Hip certified.

Dr. Spivack is honored to have accepted the opportunity to once again work alongside Dr. Stauffer at Stauffer Veterinary Surgical Center. She enjoys the personalized, high quality specialty surgical care that she is able to provide to pets and their families here in the central Indiana area. Dr. Spivack is excited to offer a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures at Stauffer Veterinary Surgical Center, while aligning with relationship-focused values that have earned the practice its uniquely high praises in the local veterinary community.
